Ashwani is actively involved in the disputes practice with primary focus on commercial transactions and investigations pertaining to white collar crimes.

 

Ashwani regularly appears in arbitrations, courts (including the High Courts and Debt Recovery Tribunal) in disputes pertaining to banking, and financial sector.

He also has appeared and represented numerous clients before adjudicating authority and appellate tribunal constituted under FEMA, and advised clients to comply with the directions issued by RBI from time to time, and has assisted clients in filing applications before the RBI seeking compounding of violations and advised them to plan their way forward.

He has advised and represented several corporations on anti-corruption, anti-bribery, anti-money laundering, and serious fraud investigations as well as commercial disputes including arbitrations. He also advised clients on investigations carried out by the Enforcement Directorate concerning violations of foreign exchange laws.
