Mohana Nijhawan is a Counsel in the firm's Insolvency & Restructuring team, bringing over 10 years of experience specialising in Insolvency & Bankruptcy, Litigation, and Dispute Resolution. 

She has advised and represented banks, financial institutions, resolution professionals, administrators, committees of creditors, resolution applicants, and various other stakeholders in insolvency resolution processes and dispute resolution matters. She has expertise in advising resolution professionals on complex issues arising not just during the insolvency resolution processed but also during the implementation process of the resolution plans. 

Mohana also has extensive experience in formulating litigation strategy, making appearances, briefing counsel, and managing proceedings before the NCLT, the NCLAT, the Supreme Court of India, and various High Courts.

Her key matters include the insolvency resolution processes of the Reliance Group Companies and Aircel Cellular Limited; the corporate insolvency resolution process of Future Retail Limited (one of India's largest retail sector companies), the group insolvency process of Videocon Industries Limited (one of the first consolidated insolvency processes involving 13 entities), the insolvency resolution process of Aviom India Housing Finance Private Limited, a financial service provider, initiated by the Reserve Bank India, and the resolution process of Jyoti Structures Limited (one of the dirty dozen insolvency resolution processes).
